Senior Chef – Internal only (RH5033-19-001)
student-focused Hospitality team on our Eastbourne campus where your strong
communication, teamwork and customer care skills will be welcome in our
innovative food outlet.
You will be
responsible for the planning and delivery of the evening food service for up to
350 students, managing an evening team of up to 7 staff. Your
responsibilities will also extend to running the kitchen on a daily basis with
the assistance of a breakfast chef. This will include menu writing,
ordering, following HACCP processes, supporting the wider team and ensuring the
outlet meets its financial goals. You will have regular contact with
customers so the ability to communicate effectively is essential in order to
provide a high-quality student experience.
experience in a similar role is essential. A current Food Hygiene Certificate
is desirable, although training can be given
The hours for this post are 11:30 to 19:30 Monday to Thursday, 12:00 to 19:30 on Friday. This fixed term post is to cover leave and will be contracted until 30 August 2019.
