Administrative Assistant (EE5027-19-002)
Are you highly organised, with excellent administrative skills? Do you have proven experience as a secretary or personal assistant?
If so, we are pleased to offer the opportunity to join our friendly team within the School of Education in a full-time, permanent position. The School of Education is one of the largest providers of education and training for student teachers, teachers and other professionals in the Higher Education sector and is based at our modern offices in Falmer, just five miles from Brighton’s stunning sea front and vibrant city centre.
Within the role you would be expected to provide a high-level of secretarial and administrative support to the Head of School and a range of committees across the School of Education. You will also work as part of a team of administrative staff to support and develop the full range of work within the School.
In order to be successful you will need:
- The ability to plan and organise a busy workload
- Previous experience in a secretarial or personal assistant role and ideally experience of committee servicing
- Fast, accurate word-processing skills
- To be proficient in the Microsoft suite of packages
- To be flexible, co-operative and helpful
